Your HR News for the month of September: Form I-9

In July, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) published the newest version of the Form I-9, which is used to verify employment eligibility. Using the Form I-9 with a revision date of 07/17/17 N was mandatory beginning September 18, 2017.

Employers have had the option to use this revised version or continue using Form I-9 with a revision date of 11/14/16 N through September 17, 2017.

This is an excellent time to review your I-9 processes and the retention of I-9s for terminated employees. Should you need assistance or guidance, please let us know!
