An established aerospace manufacturing company located in Minden, Nevada, is seeking a reliable Office Coordinator with the following abilities to join our team. We need a self-motivated professional that has a passion for keeping the office organized, attention to detail, and enjoys managing office operations all while working with customers, vendors and employees.

Job Description:

- Performs administrative duties including typing, copying, filing, faxing, emailing, etc.

- Operates office machines including copiers, scanners, phone and voicemail systems, personal computers, and other standard office equipment.

- Serves as the receptionist for the office, greeting visitors and applicants.

- Answers phones, directs calls to appropriate individuals, and prepares messages.

- Prepares letters, memos, forms, and reports according to written or verbal instructions.

- Sorts incoming mail and delivers to appropriate department or individual, processes outgoing mail.

- Maintains filing systems either manually or electronically.

- Manages office supplies inventory.

- Works closely with vendors to place orders.

- Assists employees with time off request forms.

- Creates packing slips and bill of ladings.

- Arranges outgoing and incoming shipments including international logistics.

- Verifies all shipping documentation.

- Works closely with quality to ensure proper documentation is provided for all parts.

- Assists leadership to maintain safety compliance and ISO 9001 certification.

- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to type at least 45 words per minute.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (excel, word, outlook and access).
  • Proficient with QuickBooks.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Administrative experience preferred.

Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Spanish speaking is preferred but not required.
